Neoplasia renal quÃstica multilocular

La neoplasia renal quÃstica multilocular de bajo potencial maligno es una entidad infrecuente que representa entre 1 y 4 % de los carcinomas renales. El objetivo del presente artÃculo es comentar el diagnóstico, el tratamiento y los aspectos actuales sobre el tema, en un caso con neoplasia renal quÃstica multilocular. Se presenta una paciente de 48 años con diagnóstico incidental de masa renal quÃstica Bosniak IV, tratada mediante nefrectomÃa radical laparoscópica. Se concluye como una neoplasia renal quÃstica multilocular de bajo potencial de malignidad, que es una variante distinta al carcinoma renal multiquÃstico, muy infrecuente, que suele mostrar un comportamiento indolente. No obstante, se requiere mayor seguimiento en el caso presentado. El empleo de la TC abdominal contrastada es útil para su diagnóstico y la nefrectomÃa radical mediante abordaje laparoscópico es una opción terapéutica.
